সন্ধ্যা ৭ টা ২০ মিনিট : পুরভোটে ব্যাপক সন্ত্রাসের প্রতিবাদে ধর্মঘটের ডাক দিল বামেরা। আগামী ৩০ এপ্রিল, বৃহস্পতিবার বাংলা বনধের ডাক দিয়েছে সিটু সহ দশটি বাম শ্রমিক সংগঠন। আগে ওই দিনই পরিবহণ ধর্মঘটের ডাক দিয়েছিল শ্রমিক সংগঠনগুলি। পুরভোটে সন্ত্রাসের অভিযোগে এবার ওই ধর্মঘটকেই সাধারণ ধর্মঘটে পরিণত করা হয়েছে। ধর্মঘটকে সমর্থন করছে কংগ্রেসের শ্রমিক সংগঠন আইএনটিউইসি।
