দু-একটি বিক্ষিপ্ত ঘটনা ছাড়া কর্ণাটকে ভোট শান্তিপূর্ণ, ৫টা পর্যন্ত ভোটের হার ৬৪%
আর কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই শুরু হয়ে যাবে কর্ণাটক বিধানসভার নির্বাচনের লড়াই। ২২৫টি আসন বিশিষ্ট আসনে এবার কংগ্রেসকে কড়া টক্কর দিতে চ্যালেঞ্জ ছুঁড়ে দিয়েছে বিজেপি।
২২৫টি আসন বিশিষ্ট কর্ণাটক বিধানসভার নির্বাচনে এবার কংগ্রেসকে কড়া টক্কর দিতে চ্যালেঞ্জ ছুঁড়ে দিয়েছে বিজেপি। যদিও, পিছিয়ে নেই জেডিএস। একদিকে কংগ্রেসের যখন হাতিয়ার বিগত ৫ বছরের। উন্নয়ন অন্যদিকে বিজেপি ইস্যু করেছে সরকারের উন্নয়ন ব্যর্থতাকে। বিদায়ী মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সিদ্ধারামাইয়া দু'টি আসন থেকে ভোটে লড়াই করছেন। তবে ভোটের ট্রেন্ড বলছে কর্ণাটকের বিধানসভা নির্বাচনে আসল কিং-মেকার হতে চলেছে জেডিএস।

কর্ণাটক বিধানসভা নির্বাচনে অন্তত ৪.৯৮ কোটি মানুষ ২,৬০০ প্রার্থীকে ভোট দেবেন। ভোটার তালিকায় পুরুষের সংখ্য়া ২.৫২ কোটি। এই ভোটার তালিকায় মহিলা রয়েছেন ২.৪৪ কোটি। এছাড়াও রয়েছেন ৪,৫৫২ জন রূপান্তরকামী।
